Gate menu option for the gate stage. For example, if you add a Dray Off (DE) gate transaction type to the ingate stage, you can verify the form layout by accessing the ingate stage menu option and selecting the Dray Off (DE) gate transaction type.After you add the form fields for a gate form, you can verify the form layout using the Operations Gate menu option for the gate stage. For example, if you add a Dray Off (DE) gate transaction type to the ingate stage, you can verify the form layout by accessing the ingate stage menu option and selecting the Dray Off (DE) gate transaction type.
If you add a new gate or a new gate stage, you must exit and restart N4 to see the updated Operations Gate menu.
To verify a form layout:
From Operations Gate, select the menu option name associated with the gate stage.
The menu option name displayed in the Gate menu is as specified in the Menu Name field of the Gate Stage form (on page 1).
If the tab for the required gate stage is already open, you must close and reopen the tab to see the changes made to the form layout.
If you want to verify the form layout for a gate transaction type at the first gate stage:
Enter data in the fields displayed in the Truck Details area.
The Select drop-down list in the <GateStage> Transaction Entry area is enabled.
From the Select drop-down list, select the transaction type for which you want to verify the form layout.
The form will be displayed in the <GateStage> Transaction Entry area.
If you want to verify the form layout for a gate transaction type at a subsequent gate stage:
Enter a valid Transaction Number in the Search For Truck Visit/Truck Transaction area.
The specified transaction number must be for the same gate transaction type as associated with the form.
The form for the selected gate transaction type will be displayed in the <GateStage> Transaction Entry area.
